A wig prescribed by your doctor as a cranial prosthesis may be covered in part or in full by some health plans. Coverage depends on your diagnosis, your plan, your eligibility and your paperwork — and only your plan can approve a claim.

Coverage, reimbursement amounts and eligibility vary by plan and are decided by your insurer. Flow Hair & Beauty can't guarantee coverage or payment. HSA or FSA funds may also be an option — check with your plan administrator.

Do you offer wigs for chemotherapy patients?
Yes. We help clients find natural-looking wigs before, during and after cancer treatment, including breast cancer treatment, in a private fitting room by appointment.
Can I come in before chemotherapy begins?
Yes. Some clients visit before treatment starts, while their hair is still intact. In general, this can make it easier to match your natural color, length and style, and to have your wig ready when you need it.
Can insurance help pay for my wig?
Possibly. Some health plans cover part or all of a prescribed cranial prosthesis, but coverage depends on your plan, diagnosis, eligibility and documentation, and only your plan can approve it. You'll usually need a prescription from your doctor. At Flow, we can help you understand your benefits and next steps, and we provide a medical receipt for your claim.

What happens during my private fitting?
Your consultation takes place by appointment in our private fitting room, not on the retail floor. We'll talk about your goals, take measurements, let you try on options and go over how to care for your wig. There's no pressure to decide on the spot.
